Finally got the sled out to try the hill out back!! Great FUN!!!

Christmas 2012

Christmas with family is the best. Would have kept the tree up longer but carpenter is coming Monday. Big messes before beauty. Now it joins the others in the forest to provide some shelter for the birds.

Turkeys all here for Thanksgiving!

The tribe has gathered, young & old, big daddy wanna-be's, young females, all looking for the cracked corn.....along with assorted deer, racoons, ravens, and occasionally even skunky.

Dawn, snow is gone, and expect it to be dry thru Thanksgiving....so helpful when everyone is traveling.

Winter Nov sky. Just 1 1/2wks to Thanksgiving. So thankful Sandy & Athena didn't hit us hard, and we are able to help others.

On the Deck

Lots of action on the deck yesterday morning, Nov. 6. First the turkeys were eyeing the bird feeder, then a huge Hawk made it's way to the railing, THEN incredibly, a Squirrel tried to chase the hawk away!!! Hawk went for him when he went back down to the ground, but lucky squirrel got away.

After the Storm

Gentle times after the storm. Our little area of Ct came out perfect...never lost power, trees intact, and our creatures have returned!

Sandy is Here

During "Sandy", we became Watchers! Our TV became a ghostly reflection we didn't see until after the shot!

Raven Ghost

We have many wonderful ravens around the house, and this one looks great in Ghost costume....all ready for Halloween!

After a day and night of heavy rain, the morning mists are beautiful. And amazing to see the sun and blue sky again!!

Refurbished by Dave, this vintage toy plane is just beautiful, with working wings flaps & tail all connected to the cockpit, where the little pilot sits.

Deer

Aug. 29, 2012, evening, outside our studio windows, 4 adult female and 2 baby deer were enjoying the cracked corn we put out, and running around the yard. What a treat!!!

Our Favorite Table, Aug 25,2012

Our Table 35, lets us see the sunset over the hills, while enjoying a Margarita and Chardonnay. Nice when they know just what you want, and treat you like old friends.
