Movies
Time Travelers Wife...the movie. I'm mesmerized. It's haunting, compelling, and I can't get enough. Have to read the book that I somehow missed along the way. Audrey Neffenegger happens to teach at Columbia College MFA Interdisciplinary Art Program, where I taught Art Appreciation among other things. Interesting.

New Weekly Class

Brookfield Craft Center will soon be announcing a Silver PMC Weekly Class, on 4 Thurs, 9:30-1:30, covering Connections. We will explore making PMC chain, as well as the world of "embeddables". Using fine silver tubing in PMC, we can easily create bails, hinges, bezels, and tube rivets. We'll cover granulation, basic wire wrapping bails, making french earwires, beaded wire wrap connectors, and wire clasps. Learn interesting new techniques to expertly complete your designs, starting in late Oct. and into early Nov., 2010.
New Classes Coming to BCC for the Fall!!

I'll be bringing a class of Silver PMC & Color back to Brookfield Craft Center, on Oct. 23-24, 2010! This great fun experience will cover Keum-boo, the Korean technique of adding 24k gold foil to polished PMC, as well as Prismacolor pencils, polymer clay, fixatives, patina, and colored carbona wax. Add an extra dimension to your work.
