Paradise City Northampton, Ma.

Memorial Week-end was a tremendous success!! The weather was gorgeous, the buyers were there to enjoy the week-end of jazz, great art, and wonderful food. Everyone had a great time, with my customers intrigued by my symbolic work, it was non-stop activity. I hope to be there in Oct., for the Fall Northampton Show.

Next up, my work will be in the "Contemporary Alchemy: Artistry in Metal" exhibit at the Lynn Tendler Bignel Gallery, at the Brookfield Craft Center, from June 14-Aug.2. It's a Faculty Invitational Exhibit, featuring 20 artists who have taught at the Craft Center. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, June 14, from 2-4. All in all, lots of fun art happenings going on.

Paradise City Northampton, Ma.

The Lyndhurst Artrider show last week-end was a great success!!! People came out in droves to buy gifts for themselves and others. Rain doesn't stop the motivated buyers from attending this wonderful show of excellent crafts, music, and great food.

I've just been added to the Paradise City Show, Northampton, which promises to be as good or better. Memorial Week-end will find us in Massachusettes, with jazz bands and gourmet food, as the show runs May 23,24,25.

New Santa Fe Turquoise: Lyndhurst, May 1,2,3

Here are two new pieces with Santa Fe stones: Chinese Turquoise and sterling silver. The top is from the Time Traveler Series, like a small astrolabe guiding one through the stars. The bottom is from the new Navigator Series, comparable to a compass showing a focused direction. See both these pieces at the Lyndhurst Artrider Fine Arts and Crafts Show, May 1,2,3, in Tarreytown. Located on Rt. 9, on the site of the Lyndhurst Mansion, it's a wonderful show featuring the top art & craft in the nation. I hope to see you there.

Gallery Opening

Last night's opening at Ironwood Gallery was truly magical. My work was displayed beautifully. I met many new people, old friends, and even one man who knew my work from the art shows that I did in the Chicago area during the '90s!! Amazing how syncronicity brings people together again...and then again. Dinner at the Italian restaurant around the corner, Insieme, was fantastic. Again, this all takes place at 103 Danbury Rd, Copps Hill Commons, Ridgefield, Ct. I'm so happy to be represented by this wonderful gallery, run by the great couple, Betsy & Richard.

How exciting to be part of this wonderful gallery, and to have my work showcased along side incredibly beautiful, museum quality, fine art. I will be there, so if any of my Connecticut people can attend, I'd love to see you. The gallery is located at 103 Danbury Rd, Copps Hill Commons,Ridgefield, Ct, 203-431-3388, or check www.ironwoodgallery.com for more information. Refreshments will be served.

Navigator Series

The Navigator Series are like compasses, pieces that look as if they "do" something, to guide us on the path of life. Each ancient stone from the Earth, is framed in 14k gold filled wire. Here is Chinese Writing Stone, crystals formed within a black, limestone matrix, perfectly matched. Swirling purple Charoite from Russia, highlight the stamped, gold wire. Each is a Navigational Tool through layers of dimensions of hopes, dreams, and enlightenment.

Time Traveler Series

Here are some new pieces in the Time Traveler Series. I have an intricate, astrolabe from the 1800's, that shows directions, and coordinates with stars and time, for those who can read it. These pieces seem to mark various bearings or locations, as they frame fossils and stones created by the Earth over millions of years. Our past is our present, when we wear stones birthed deep inside Mother Earth.
