My Birthday Dawn Sky!!! Going to be a great day!!! And mid 50s too!!!

Turkeys all here for Thanksgiving!

The tribe has gathered, young & old, big daddy wanna-be's, young females, all looking for the cracked corn.....along with assorted deer, racoons, ravens, and occasionally even skunky.

Dawn, snow is gone, and expect it to be dry thru Thanksgiving....so helpful when everyone is traveling.

Winter Nov sky. Just 1 1/2wks to Thanksgiving. So thankful Sandy & Athena didn't hit us hard, and we are able to help others.

On the Deck

Lots of action on the deck yesterday morning, Nov. 6. First the turkeys were eyeing the bird feeder, then a huge Hawk made it's way to the railing, THEN incredibly, a Squirrel tried to chase the hawk away!!! Hawk went for him when he went back down to the ground, but lucky squirrel got away.

After the Storm

Gentle times after the storm. Our little area of Ct came out perfect...never lost power, trees intact, and our creatures have returned!

Sandy is Here

During "Sandy", we became Watchers! Our TV became a ghostly reflection we didn't see until after the shot!

Raven Ghost

We have many wonderful ravens around the house, and this one looks great in Ghost costume....all ready for Halloween!

Deer

Aug. 29, 2012, evening, outside our studio windows, 4 adult female and 2 baby deer were enjoying the cracked corn we put out, and running around the yard. What a treat!!!

Our Favorite Table, Aug 25,2012

Our Table 35, lets us see the sunset over the hills, while enjoying a Margarita and Chardonnay. Nice when they know just what you want, and treat you like old friends.

Close to Playland, highlighted in Tom Hanks movie "Big", is this wonderful beach on Manursing Island, Rye, NY. Great friends, gentle breeze, fantastic dinner & wine, made for a truly memorable Sunday evening experience.

Ct Beach

Took Thurs off to celebrate our Anniversary at the Beach!! Life is all about the experiences.

Secret Garden Essex, Ct

Commenting on the beautiful flowers a man was watering in front of his home in Essex, he said "Let me show you a secret!". In the back was this amazing English garden, where he plans to add an English glasses Conservatory in the near future. Amazing, fun surprise for us.

WWII Painting for a Model

My husband always loved this model as a kid, and found the actual kit, still in cellophane wrapping at an antique store. He started wondering about the original art. Magic happened. Just this year, the artist produced giclee prints of that exact image! Beautiful!!!

Frozen Dew on Trees

The trees glistened like out of a fairytale, as the Sun hit the frozen dew covering the branches. Raining down melting dew on me as I shot this.

Porch Dining

So cool to be able to enjoy the porch. Like a picnic in comfort. This was during the warm Memorial Day Week-end. Made a pitcher of sangria. First time using the grill for the season.

Brimfield Antiques

At the Brimfield, Mass show last week, we found some treasures. Lights from selvaged ships were great, and now adorn our deck. A gorgeous door facade would have been beautiful on one of our walls, but it was tres expensive. But we have pics of it.
