Time Traveler Series

Here are some new pieces in the Time Traveler Series. I have an intricate, astrolabe from the 1800's, that shows directions, and coordinates with stars and time, for those who can read it. These pieces seem to mark various bearings or locations, as they frame fossils and stones created by the Earth over millions of years. Our past is our present, when we wear stones birthed deep inside Mother Earth.

Display Idea

A gallery owner gave me a great idea for displaying my work in a way that allows the buyer to shop within their price range. Display the pieces according to price range, grouping all pieces from the $50-$150 range together, with a small sign in one that reads $50-$150, and in the next case, $151-$250, and so on. Buyers will be drawn to the case within their price range, and you can better serve them with pieces they can afford.

Ironwood Gallery

I am now represented by Ironwood Gallery, in Ridgefield, Ct. They are a fantastic gallery filled with incredible fine art craft pieces. I'm honored to be a part of their work. Run by Betsy Halliday and Richard Herrmann, this was the first gallery we scoped out after moving here from Chicago. We bought a wonderful Robert Dancik pendant at that time. The images are Jewel of the Orient, with a luscious purple charoite, and Secret Garden, hosting a Chinese Turquoise with peridot and tourmaline accents.

Sea Glass

I've been busy teaching! One student wanted to set Sea Glass, so here are pieces that I created for that series of classes. I especially like the sterling, stamped "caps". The wire wrap also worked well with the colored glass. Some are greener than this image shows.

Successful Holiday Show!

I had a great Holiday Show, held as an Open Studio in our magic Connecticut home in the woods. Some of my best customers came out to visit, and share in refreshments and joy of the Season.

It's like a big Holiday Party, and I will be hosting one every year, probably during the first week-end of Dec. Gifts ranged from $10-$12 items of Magic Hat keychains & bookmarks, on up to the newest, creative art jewelry. Thanks to all who made the trip, and made the show a great success.

Holiday Open House

Spirit House

An exquisite charoite stone suspends from a forged neck ring. I couldn't pass up this gorgeous purple specimen. Doing it justice was the trick. A faceted iolite hangs freely above it, echoing the blue purple color. Gold vermielle wire adds an accent of color to the stamped neckring.
